Osinbajo Approves Appointment of new INEC RECs

Nigeria's Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has approved the appointment of new Resident Electoral Commissioners.
This is according to a statement issued by the director media in the office of the secretary to the government of the federation, Bolaji Adebiyi.
The appointees are;
• Professor Godwill Obioma, Abia
• James Lorliam, Benue
• Dr. Nwachukwu Orji , Ebonyi
• Dr. Iloh Joseph Valentine Chuks, Enugu
• Dr. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda , Plateau
• Umar Ibrahim , Taraba
• Mr. Emeka Ononamadu Joseph, Imo
• Obo O. Effanga ,Cross River
• Professor Francis Chuckwemeka Ezeounu, An amber
• Dr. Briyai O. Frankland, Bayelsa
• Ibrahim Abdullahi, mni Adamawa
• Agboke Mutiu Olaleke, Ogun
• Hussaini Halilu Pai FCT
• Alhaji Ahmad Makama, Bauchi ( reappointment) .“These appointees have been confirmed by the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and therefore the appointments are with immediate effect,” Adebiyi said.
