Nigerian Army Corporal Sentenced to Death for Killing Boko Haram Suspect

Lance Corporal Hillary Joel of the Nigerian army has been sentenced to death for killing a Boko Haram suspect.
He was sentenced by the Army General Court Martial in Borno State, Vanguard reports.
He was accused of setting the Boko Haram suspect ablaze during a cordon and search operation by the army in Damboa LGA. This led to the death of the terrorist suspect.
